This is a tool that can use the EXIF information from cameras and create formatted HTML pages with photos.
Exif2htm is a tool allowing you to generate nice and fully customizable HTML tables and web photo albums. The EXIF metadata from cameras contained in the photos in JPEG and TIFF files can be used in several ways. Most digital cameras save special EXIF information in photo files. The EXIf data can cover a range of details that include date and time when the photo was taken, aperture value, shutter speed, ISO, flash state, focal length and other useful camera settings. That gives you the possibility of creating photo shows for your site that show off your images as well as the details about how they were taken, the publisher has some examples, and the possibilities are endless, of course. One photo album, the simple album just has the photo name and a thumbnail for the photo. You can make this more sophisticated and make it look like a professional photographer’s show piece by including the aperture and shutter speed, etc.
You could even create a table detailing the parameters of the shoot or have the parameters arranged in a spreadsheet. As a photographer you are able to analyze the details and use the parameter combinations to help take good pictures later and avoid the mistakes. Exif2htm is also capable of generating simple TEXT files and comma-separated CSV files, which are compatible with Microsoft Excel and allow to conduct a comprehensive data analysis with some other applications, if you wanted to. The interface helps create the HTML pages easily. You do not need much time to figure out your way around the program. A very handy tool if you have a need for these functionalities.
